Internet Onair (Wifi on aircrafts), provided by VISHIPEL on Vietnamese aircrafts, allows passengers to connect to the Internet from laptops, tablets or smartphones via Wi-Fi simply by opening a browser as for any hotspot.
The service is provided on Airbus A350 aircrafts operated by Vietnam Airlines on flights between Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City/Russia/France and Ho Chi Minh City - Russia/USA/Korea.
With only at least 75,000 VND, passengers can now instantly share their emotions in the sky with relatives and friends via social networks or text messages via OTT applications directly using the onboard wifi connection.
Service fees are accepted for payment via one of the following credit cards: Visa; Mastercard; American Express; Discover anh JCB.
Passengers using Internet Onair are advised to keep mobile devices in airplane mode. Passengers are allowed to use this service when the plane reaches a certain altitude.
