VT02 service is an international intermediary telecommunication payment between users (ships) and service providers/maritime communication operators, to ensure payment to service providers in the world for Inmarsat subscribers.
In Vietnam, VISHIPEL is the representative accounting agency for ships flying the Vietnamese flag. Accordingly, ships/ship owners can use the services of any maritime telecommunication service provider worldwide without wasting effort, time or expense in international transactions to reach an agreement on using the service.
VISHIPEL provides VT02 service according to International Regulations and ITU recommendations. When registering for a number and connecting to the Inmarsat network, the ship owner shall sign a contract with an international telecommunication service provider.
