(Vishipel) - On September 19, 2022, the delegation of the Japanese Embassy headed by Mr. Monji Yuichi, First Secretary of the Political Committee had a working visit at VISHIPEL. The aim of the working visit is to seek cooperation opportunities in search and rescue activities at sea between VISHIPEL and the Japan Coast Guard (JCG). Mr. Phan Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of VISHIPEL warmly welcomed the delegation.
Mr. Monji Yuichi, First Secretary of the Political Department Japanese Embassy worked at VISHIPEL.
At the meeting, VISHIPEL briefed the activities of the Vietnam Coastal Radio Station System, the VMS for managing and monitoring vehicles at sea developed by VISHIPEL, the coordination between systems in sharing information for search and rescue activities and maritime safety and security.

VISHIPEL also expressed its desire to cooperate with JCG in sharing existing information data from both sides with the aim of developing into products for the purpose of SAR. Information sharing will be carried out on the basis of the two countries' laws.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Monji Yuichi rejoyed and highly appeciated VISHIPEL's products when experiencing the practical VMS developed by the Company. He expressed his hope that the information shared at the meeting would help promote the cooperative relationship between VISHIPEL and JCG in the future.

At the end of the meeting, the Japanese Embassy delegation visited the Hai Phong Coastal Radio Station. This is one of 33 stations under the Vietnam Coastal Radio System with the mission of ensuring information safety for people and vehicles at sea.
